What Are the Symptoms of Condyloma?

Condyloma manifests itself as small warts on the outside of the genital area. These warts can be both visible and palpable. Condyloma may show its symptoms within 1 to 6 months after it is infected, or it may remain in the body for long periods without showing symptoms. Since condyloma is likely to grow and spread, care should be taken from the moment it is infected. Condylomas are skin lesions that resemble cauliflower in appearance. Colors are pink and white. Condylomas, which are soft in structure, can be found flat on the body as well as being raised. They can be found in the outer areas of the genital areas as well as in the inner areas. You can also find condylomas inside the vagina and anus, or inside the mouth and throat.

If there is a different infection in the genital area, the rate of spread of condylomas accelerates even more. At the same time, spreading and growth rates increase in a humid and warm area. Condylomas do not usually cause pain, but itching, burning and bleeding may occur.
Diagnosis and treatment of condyloma
Condylomas can be detected by a doctor’s examination. Apart from this, diagnostic methods are recommended by evaluating their structures, spreading rates and positions in the body. It can also be diagnosed with the acid test, which is called the condyloma test. Condylomas with internal parts can be looked at with the help of devices.

For the treatment of condyloma, different methods can be applied depending on the patient’s condition. One of these methods is to destroy the condylomas in that area by burning them with electric current. This treatment is continued until the condylomas disappear completely.

Another method is the freezing method, which is also called cryotherapy. Condyloma treatment can be applied by cutting with wire loops or scalpel.
