Since the establishment of Tepecik Hospital, physicians who have mastered the surgery of their own time period have come and successfully performed all kinds of surgeries regardless of the difficulty level.

Some procedures that shape Turkish Surgery at the national level, such as esophageal surgery, colon interposition, whiple operation, and organ transplantation, were initiated in Tepecik Hospital. First Laparoscopic Surgery, first Breast conserving surgery and in this context, Reduction Mammoplasty. We can divide my surgical life into two parts. 1. Department 1. Surgery clinic has a department for nearly 30 years and I have performed numerous operations related to Pancreaticobiliary Surgery, GIS Tumors, and Endocrine Surgery in this department. I have participated in and performed gastric reduction surgeries (bariatric surgery) that are popular today.

Associate Professor. The first limited Breast Surgery (in Breast Cancer) with Ragıp Kayar was performed here in 1988 for the first time in Turkey and later it was accepted throughout Turkey. Again, since there was no Oncology unit in those years, chemotherapy was performed by us for 10 years.

In 1993, reduction mammoplasty came to the fore and started to be performed routinely, and the first oncoplastic Breast Surgery symposium was held in Grown plaza with a panel of 10 speakers, 24 panelists and 106 people. I also took an active part in this symposium. (8 cases, 14 operations and 5 different techniques were shown to 21 trainees in 3 operating rooms in the course held in the operating rooms of our hospital.)

Meanwhile, Assoc. Bahattin Canbeyli brought Laparoscopic Surgery to Tepecik Hospital after receiving the necessary training abroad in 1984 and put it into routine practice. In this regard, like many of our surgeon friends, I had the opportunity to have experience in surgeries such as Laparoscopic pouch, Endocrine surgery, Colon surgery, Bariatric surgery.

In 2005, I attended a course opened by the Ministry of Health and received the Medical Aesthetic Practice Certificate. And I have had experience in subjects such as Hair Transplantation, Mesotherapy, Prp, Fillers, Botox. And I have performed many hair transplants and Mesotherapy.

While working at Tepecik Hospital between 2000-2010, I had the experience of running a practice outside. With the law enacted in 2010, I closed the practice and continued my work in Tepecik. (Physicians working at the State Hospital had to choose either a practice or a hospital.) And after 2010, I focused on the actual Breast Surgery and attended national Oncoplastic surgery courses and international courses. I have improved myself in breast reduction and Oncoplastic surgery. This is my 2nd Surgical life in the 2nd Surgery clinic. In recent years, we have increased our experience in this field by adding Laser therapy to interventions such as hemorrhoid operations, pilonidal sinus operations, anal fistula, anal fissure operations. We attended the necessary courses and gave laser surgery courses at the national level. In recent years, I have also developed Breast Reduction and (reduction mammoplasty) and started to apply it with different techniques. In granulomatous mastitis, I have successfully performed this operation in many cases for the first time in Turkey. I have further developed oncoplastic surgery. This year, I am retiring from Tepecik Hospital, where I gave my years, due to my age, and I continue to help my patients in the light of this information in my newly opened practice.
